God I Love Google Maps

This is Lake Burullus, 100 miles North of Cairo. Just take a minute and look at it.

For several days before I stumbled upon this, I was using google's street view to locate businesses in Toulouse, France. Without actually setting foot on French soil, I spent several days "walking" around the streets of Toulouse, taking a tour of all the nice shops there.

All Palin, All the Time

Andrew Sullivan posted this chart showing the instances of the above search terms in google in August. Notice that "sarah palin" peaks at August 29th.

All the lefties (me included) have been yucking it up about how there's no way she's going to get elected. Not with all that bad press.

But we forgot the cardinal rule of media: no press is bad press.
